Why Talent Over Skills, Experience or Certifications
Every time you hire someone you run the risk that the time, money and attention you put into that hire won't pay off. You have an elaborate process whose sole purpose is to mitigate that risk. We can simplify and improve that process, making it both more effective and more cost-effective because we assess cybersecurity role-specific talent and enable you to use that assessment when making hiring decisions. Isn't this what everyone else does? In a word, no.
Everyone else uses skills, experience and certifications as proxies for talent. These are not great proxies but up to now they were all we had. All of these proxies look backward in time and apply to other situations.
Skills are what candidates have learned somewhere else doing something else.
Experience is the something else that the candidates have done somewhere else.
Certifications mean someone else approved of whatever other thing the candidates did.
But you really want to know is what a candidate would do for you if you
hired them and that is best predicted by assessing their talent.
Here is how we assess talent.
